Aero Surfacing of F1 Rear Wing on CATIA V6 3D Experience

Corner of the top flap is meant to create outwash wake while secondary back provides structural integrity.

Lower beam structure were created with sections and LE,TE_P,TE_S guidelines.

I designed a rear wing by working on the left hand side of the wing. To obtain the full body I simply mirrored.

Following measurements were taken into design considerations:

Total width: 1000mm

Chord length: 350 mm

Top two flaps were designed within same sections.

Rollover design had a secondary plane on a different angle and also  profile was elongated to connect rear flat side with the top flap.
